8th February, 2023

In the neon-lit streets of Tokyo, I found myself wandering aimlessly, searching for something that would fulfill the yearning in my soul. I stumbled upon a small, inconspicuous store, and there it was, shining like a beacon in the darkness - a rare discontinued 39mm Audemars Piguet Royal oak, calling my name. I was drawn to it, mesmerized by its beauty and aura of prestige.

I entered the store, heart racing with excitement, and asked to see the timepiece. The shopkeeper carefully placed it in my hand, and as I felt the weight of it, and looked at its original dial, sharp unpolished bezel, unmarked crown, and untouched hour, minute, and seconds hands, I knew I had to have it. I felt like I was holding a piece of history, a symbol of a life well-lived, and I wanted to be a part of that story.

I handed over the [not insignificant] payment, feeling like I had just made the best decision of my life. The watch now sits on my wrist, a constant reminder of the spontaneous adventure that led me to this moment.

As I walk the streets of Tokyo, I feel like a different person - one with a sense of purpose and direction, someone who is living life to the fullest. I am grateful for this moment, for this new chapter in my life that has begun with the purchase of this near flawless rose gold Royal Oak.

IF I COULD ONLY HAVE ONE

"It would be a 15407ST steel double balance AP Royal oak. It's everything I love about AP in one watch."
